The emblem of SVS Medical College (SVSMC) features a yellow shield with green outlines  housing the motifs of banyan tree, rising sun and a traditional lamp supported by the text ‘SVS MCH’. Below these, the Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents and supported by an open book inscribed with the text ‘SVS MCH’. At the bottom, the motto of the college in Sanskrit  ‘सत्यमेव जयते’, which translates to ‘Truth Alone Triumphs’ is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the Staff of Caduceus represents medicine and medical profession.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
