CHENNAI METRO RAIL PROJECT

CHENNAI METRO RAIL PROJECT The Government of Tamil Nadu created a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for implementing the Chennai Metro Rail Project. This SPV named as Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) was incorporated on December 3, 2007 under the Companies Act. It has now been converted into a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu with equal equity holding. Its ultramarine blue emblem made up of geometrical shapes has a pair of circular lines representing ‘C’s, embellished with a stylised ‘M’. The parallel blue strokes represent tracks and the two vortexes represent elevation and the trough represents underground routes.

The existing Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRCL) which would be reconstituted into Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) for implementation of all metro projects including Nagpur Metro Rail Project in the State of Maharashtra outside Mumbai Metropolitan Region for the smooth implementation, execution and operations. The logo of Nagpur Metro is also the symbol of the set of values and goals which it wants to achieve. The orange colour represents the ‘Orange City’ i.e. Nagpur while the circle represents safety and ensures us that the commuters are in safe hands. KOLKATA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD

KOLKATA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRCL) is a Government of India enterprise implementing Kolkata (East-West Metro) Corridor Project. KMRCL's Project upon completion will connect Salt Lake Sector-V in the East and Howrah Maidan in the West. There shall be six elevated stations and six underground stations. The line will have interchange with existing terminals of Indian railways at Howrah and Sealdah. Its green red and blue emblem has a pair of concentric hexagons symbolising underground, safety and environment friendliness; has two arrow heads in blue and red facing opposite directions meaning to-and-fro transport.

METRO RAILWAY, KOLKATA

METRO RAILWAY, KOLKATA Metro Railway, Kolkata is the first underground Metro in India. It extends from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash Metro station near Garia, on the busy North-South axis of Kolkata over a length of 31.365 Kms with 26 Stations and 15.70 Kms of underground section. The first line of about 3.4 km between Esplanade and Bhowanipur in India was completed on October 24, 1984 and thrown open for the public. The last leg was opened on 23rd February 2021 for commercial operation from Noapara to Dakshineswar. Metro Railway, Kolkata, is the owner and operator of Kolkata Metro, the oldest metro system of India. On December 29, 2010, it became the 17th zone of the Indian Railways, operated by the Ministry of Railways. Its emblem in dark red colour has two moving arrows in white facing opposite directions, symbolising to-and-fro travel. The logo as a whole looks like a metro coach on the move.

BANGALORE METRO RAIL CORPORATION LIMITED

BANGALORE METRO RAIL CORPORATION LIMITED Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project. The logo was designed by Jayanth Jain and Mahendra Kumar of A Brand New Story. The emblem in purple with green dots, depict a rangoli which graces the front yards of houses, which is a part of Bengaluru’s culture. Its never-ending loop signifies ‘infinite’ coverage of metro lines. The tagline ‘Namma Metro’ in green is a friendly phrase used by Kannadigas.

DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION

DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) also called Delhi Metro is a mass rapid transit (MRT) system serving Delhi and its satellite cities of Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Bahadurgarh and Ballabhgarh in the National Capital Region of India began its commercial operation on December 25, 2002. The DMRC, was established in 1995. The network consists of 10 colour-coded lines serving 286 stations with a total length of 348.12 kilometres. The emblem of Delhi Metro signifies ‘safety, speed and reliability’. No competition was held to decide on the logo of Delhi Metro. While some advertising agencies were engaged to come up with some designs, finally it was developed and finalised in-house. The logo is a graphic depiction of a rail network inside a tunnel and signifies safety, speed and reliability. The company is engaged in exploitation and excavation of lignite, generation of thermal power and also sale of raw lignite. In 1928, occurrence of ‘peat’ a low calorific fuel of coal family near point calimere was reported to the then Madras Government, by the sub-collector of Thanjavur Mr. Nelson. Its blue colour logo has N, L and C written in a interwined and superimposed within a triangle, which is ensconced in a circular gear wheel. AIR INDIA LIMITED 1 National Aviation Company of India Limited – NACIL was incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 on March 30, 2007 with its Registered Office at Airlines House in New Delhi and Corporate Office at Air India Building, in Mumbai. Its name was changed on November 24, 2010  to Air India Limited. It is owned by Talace Private Limited, a Special-Purpose Vehicle Vehicle (SPV) of Tata Sons, after sale by the Government of India on January 27, 2022. The logo of Air India is a red coloured flying swan with the 'Konark Chakra' in orange, placed inside it. The flying swan has been morphed from Air India's characteristic logo, 'The Centaur', whereas the 'Konark Chakra' is reminiscent of Indian Airlines logo. AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA Airports Authority of India (AAI) came into existence on April 1, 1995. AAI has been constituted as a statutory authority under the Airports Authority of India Act, 1994 by merging the erstwhile International Airports Authority of India and National Airports Authority with a view to accelerate the integrated development, expansion and modernisation of the air traffic services, passenger terminals, operational areas and cargo facilities at the airports in the country. The light indigo coloured logo has two symmetrical traingular blocks facing on the perpendicular sides symbolising ‘AA’ and hangers with eliptical openings. The space in between has been topped by a solid circle for ‘I’. This has been cut by a stroke of a flying machine.

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA URAN AKADEMI The foundation stone of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, (IGRUA), was laid by Rajiv Gandhi on November 7, 1985 at Fursatganj district Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. The Akademi functions under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India through its governing council, is an autonomous body under the control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The emblem of IGRUA has Ashoka Chakra in the centre supported bywings on both sides. It has its name written in Devanagari and English on top and bottom respectively in dark red colour.

The Society commissioned its ammonia/urea plant in 1985. It produces urea, DAP, NPK, MOP, SSP, zinc sulphate, bio-fertilizers, certified seeds, compost, hybrid seeds, BT Cotton etc., and distributes these products through its channel partners both in cooperatives and private retail. Its dark green coloured logo has the acronym ‘KRIBHCO’ written in an italicized manner where the bottom stroke of the ‘K’ is extended to provide the base.

FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS TRAVANCORE LIMITED Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) was incorporated in 1943. In 1947 FACT started production of ammonium sulphate with an installed capacity of 50,000 metric tonne per annum at Udyogamandal, near Cochin. In the year 1960, FACT became a public sector undertaking and towards the end of 1962, Government of India became the major shareholder. FACT’s logo is dominated by cyan backround where the acronym is written in white. On its left side the two elephants in symmetry are placed in black colour in white background.

NATIONAL FERTILIZERS LIMITED National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) is a Schedule ‘A’ and Mini Ratna Company, which was incorporated on August 23, 1974 for setting up of two nitrogenous fertilizer plants, based on gasification technology of feed stock at Bathinda - Punjab and Panipat - Haryana having an installed capacity of 5.11 lakh tonnes of urea each, which commenced from October 1, 1979 and September 1, 1979 respectively. Its logo has five green leaves symmetrically arranged supported on a green base with white lettering of the company’s name in Devanagari, below this in a maroon band its acronym in the acronym in English in white is placed.

RASHTRIYA CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS LIMITED Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCFL) was incorporated on March 6, 1978 and it came into being as a result of the re organization of the erstwhile Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited. At the time of its formation, the company had one operating unit, viz. Trombay (old plants) and two major projects under implementation viz. RCFL was the first fertilizer company in India to commission a green field, mega fertilizer complex at Thal-Vaishet in the State of Maharashtra. Its green colour logo has R, C, and F placed inside the two hexagonal overlapping structures of a chemical. On the crest is a symbolic representation of cereal stem.

Its logo has its acronym written in Engish and Devanagari within a red bordered rectangle topped at its right by a blue coloured globe. Its logo is a square golden coloured glittering and embossed ‘S’ place in a square of which the top half is dark brown and the bottom half is gold coloured. MADRAS FERTILIZERS LIMITED Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL) was incorporated in December 1966 as a joint venture between Government of India and Amoco India Incorporation of USA-AMOCO with government holding 51% of the equity share capital. During 1997, MFL has gone for public issue of 2,86,30,000 shares. Its green colour logo has MFL overwritten on a silhouted map of south India. Above this is the acronym in Devanagiri separated by a parting line.

KEMPEGOWDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

KEMPEGOWDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport), named after founder of the City - Hiriya Kempegowda - is the first Greenfield Airport in India, established on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Its logo has got an emblem consisting of petals from the flowers three plants found in Bangalore - Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia) – greenish blue, Gulmohur (Delonix regia) - Orange and the Copper Pod (Peltophorum pterocarpum) – yellow. Below this is its name ‘Kempegowda’ written in greenish blue and below that is ‘International Airport, Bengaluru’ in black. The logo was designed by Ray and Keshavan of the Brand Union.

INDIAN RUPEE

INDIAN RUPEE The Indian currency is called the Indian Rupee (INR). One Rupee consists of 100 Paise. The symbol of the Indian Rupee is ₹. The design resembles both the Devanagari letter ‘₹’ (ra) and the Latin capital letter ‘R’, with a double horizontal line at the top. The Indian rupee sign is the currency symbol for the Indian rupee (ISO 4217 INR), the official currency of India. Designed by D. Udaya Kumar, it was presented to the public by the Government of India on July 15, 2010, following its selection through an open competition among Indian residents. The Unicode code point for the Indian rupee sign is U+20B9 '₹' Indian Rupee sign.

TATA Tata was set up by a visionary and pioneer leader Jamsetji Tata in 1868.Today, the operating companies of the Tata group leads the nation in ten business verticals. 66% of Tata Sons is owned by trusts. The emblem of Tata is "Just a simple 'T'", right? As in 'T’, of Tata. The Tata logo, designed by the Wolff Olins consultancy, has a lot of meaning in it. The logo is meant to signify fluidity; it may also be seen as a fountain of knowledge; may be a tree of trust under which people can take refuge. This iron blue oval emblem has ‘TATA’ written below in Helvetica bold and both the ‘A’s do not have horizontal strokes. Tata group organisations use this emblem alongwith their respective names.

Its emblem is a circular seal with a white border where its name is written in black letters and in the middle is a four coloured flag with a white torch and three red stars.

COAL INDIA

COAL INDIA The world’s largest coal producer, Coal India Limited is a state-owned company engaged in coal mining and refining. Having headquarters in Kolkata, West Bengal, the Maharatna company has been ranked eight among the top twenty firms behind a third of all global carbon emissions and it contributes to around 82% of the coal production in India. The Coal India emblem depicts a piece of coal as a diamond shaped multifaceted crystal in black. This ensconced in a vertical rounded rectangle, topped by its name in Devanagari and English below.
