The emblem of Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) has the motifs of a mine with miners and their tools, equipment, wheelbarrow and headframe placed inside a circle with a green border. The border is inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English. The seal is crested by the National Emblem, the Lion Capital and supported by a pair of crossed pickaxes. At the bottom on a blue rectangular panel, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सतत कार्यरत’ and ‘On With the Job’ are written.
