NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE 
National Informatics Centre (NIC) is the premier science and technology organisation of the Government of India in informatics services and information and communication technology (ICT) applications. Established in 1976, NIC is a part of the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India. The NIC logo is light blue in colour, which represents professionalism, trust, loyalty, confidence, productivity, wisdom, intelligence, strength, stability, peace, calmness and perseverance. The bilingual form i.e., both Devanagari and English languages are used to enable masses to connect with the Centre, for it provides them with services for their convenience to seek benefits from various schemes or programmes. Seven horizontal lines running across the logo suggest a positive move towards expansion or setting new horizons or dimensions, thereby symbolising progress and development at every step-in technology and communications.
