NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE 
National Informatics Centre (NIC) is the premier science and technology organisation of the Government of India in informatics services and information and communication technology (ICT) applications. Established in 1976, NIC is a part of the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India. The NIC logo is light blue in colour, which represents professionalism, trust, loyalty, confidence, productivity, wisdom, intelligence, strength, stability, peace, calmness and perseverance. The bilingual form i.e., both Devanagari and English languages are used to enable masses to connect with the Centre, for it provides them with services for their convenience to seek benefits from various schemes or programmes. Seven horizontal lines running across the logo suggest a positive move towards expansion or setting new horizons or dimensions, thereby symbolising progress and development at every step-in technology and communications.

KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. Mysore State was the predecessor to Karnataka State, which was created on November 1, 1965. Sri. L. Rickets was appointed as first Inspector General of Police. During the rule of Maharajas of Mysore, the policing existed in different variants. Hukumnama or Kandachara was issued for policing during the rule of Maharaja Mummudi Krishna Raja Wodeyar (1799-1811) at old Mysore region under the British rule, when Sri. Poornaiah was Dewan. RAJENDRA UNIVERSITY Rajendra University, Balangir, recognized by UGC as a State Public University, owes its origin to an Intermediate college setup in Balangir in 1944 by Maharaja Rajendra Narayan Sighdeo, the then ruler of the erstwhile Patna State and one of the former Chief Ministers of Odisha.
