MIZORAM POLICE
Mizoram State is claimed as an 'Island of Peace' in an otherwise turbulent North-Eastern Region. The State is enjoying peace and tranquillity, barring a few acts of insurgency in border areas of 404 kilometre with Myanmar and 318 kilometre with Bangladesh during the last twenty years, that is, ever since the Peace Accord was signed in 1986. Mizoram Police is headed by the Director General of Police (DGP) and he is assisted by officers in the headquarters and officers in-charge of special and various field units. The emblem of Mizoram Police has a pair of horns crested with Ashoka Lion Capital. Below this in a red banner the words ‘Mizoram Police’ is written in white.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
