PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AUSHADHI PARIYOJANA

Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) is a campaign launched in November 2008 by the Department of Pharmaceuticals Government of India in association with Central Pharma Public Sector Undertaking, to provide quality medicines at affordable prices to the masses through dedicated outlets called ‘Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra’ branded as ‘Jan Aushadhi’. These provide generic medicines at lowest prices. The potency of these medicines are same as compared to expensive branded medicines available in the open market. Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) is the implementation agency for PMBJP. The four coloured logo has symbols and Devanagari words. The symbol consists of two joyous persons in blue colour, in the backdrop of a bottle of medicine in fresh green colour and ensconced by a circle. The name of the scheme is written in fresh green, Orange and blue colours.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES JODHPUR All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur) is one of the six new AIIMS established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education. Its circular insignia in gold and blue has the traditional symbol of the Caduceus to represent medicine. This symbol derives from Hermes or Mercury, the winged messenger and a staff intertwined by two snakes.
