NATIONAL E-GOVERNANCE PLAN
Founded in the year 2006, the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) is an initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), which seeks to lay the foundation and provide the impetus for the long-term growth of e-Governance within the country. The vision of NeGP aims to make all Government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common service delivery outlets and ensure efficiency, transparency and reliability of such services at affordable costs to realize the basic needs of the common man to improve the delivery of Government services to citizens and businesses. The emblem of National e-Governance Plan is created using the ‘e’ and ‘G’ of e-Governance in dark and dull blue colours. The tagline ‘Public Services Closer Home’ is written in black in cyan vignette stripe.

GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. CHAROTAR UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) was conceived by Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal and established in the year 2000. The institute was accorded the status of a university under Gujarat State Act No. 8 of 2009. The emblem of the university has a pictorial and a wordmark. The pictorial has the letter ‘C’ written stylistically holding an orange dot in its counter and it is supported by a pair of white swooshes on a blue quadrilateral. On its right its acronym is written in blue serif typeface and its name is written below that. The colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES The Central Board of Direct Taxes is a statutory authority functioning under the Central Board of Revenue Act, 1963 and it is dealing with matters relating to levy and collection of direct taxes. The emblem of CBDT has the national emblem in blue colour, supported by green laurel. At the bottom on a red banner its motto in Sanskrit 'कोश मुलो दण्डः' meaning 'Treasury or Revenue is the Backbone of Administration'.

DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY The Dravidian family of languages, which includes more than twenty seven tongues, is the most ancient living language family of the world. The Government of Andhra Pradesh established the Dravidian University in 1997 at the tri-lingual junction, Kuppam in Chittoor District through a Legislature Act of Andhra Pradesh and conceived as an interstate institution. The emblem of the university is designed to indicate its main objectives and ideals. The open book symbolises knowledge accessible to all. The popular maxim ‘Knowledge is Power’ found at the top of the open book indicates supreme place given to knowledge. GOA UNIVERSITY Goa University (GU) has three campuses in Panaji, Margao and Vasco da Gama. Its history dates back to the 17th century, when the Portuguese established the first university courses in Goa. However, it wasn't until after Goa was annexed by India that the university was consolidated, with the University of Mumbai establishing the Centre for Postgraduate Instruction and Research (CPIR) in Panaji in 1962. The present university was established under the Goa University Act of 1984 (Act No. 7 of 1984) and commenced operations on June 1, 1985 replacing the CPIR.
