NATIONAL E-GOVERNANCE PLAN
Founded in the year 2006, the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) is an initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), which seeks to lay the foundation and provide the impetus for the long-term growth of e-Governance within the country. The vision of NeGP aims to make all Government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common service delivery outlets and ensure efficiency, transparency and reliability of such services at affordable costs to realize the basic needs of the common man to improve the delivery of Government services to citizens and businesses. The emblem of National e-Governance Plan is created using the ‘e’ and ‘G’ of e-Governance in dark and dull blue colours. The tagline ‘Public Services Closer Home’ is written in black in cyan vignette stripe.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.

The blue circle is circumscribed by the name and place of the college in red. The weighing scales with the twin balance pans symbolise equity, fairness, objectivity and truth; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the figures holding hands directly atop the scale beam highlights unity, collaboration, teamwork and community integration.

GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE LEH (GPC LEH) The emblem of Government Polytechnic College Leh (GPC Leh) features a circle with a range of snow-capped mountain peaks, rising sun and a computer ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The year of the establishment of the college is written below the seal. The snow-capped mountain peaks are characteristic of the Ladakh region symbolising the geographical location (Land of High Passes), as well as resilience, strength and reaching for high achievements. The sun traditionally signifies the dawning of knowledge, enlightenment and the eradication of ignorance through education.

GOVERNMENT GANDHI MEMORIAL SCIENCE COLLEGE, JAMMU (GGM SC JAMMU) The emblem of Government Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu (GGM SC Jammu) features three orange and cyan feathers held by a royal coronet with a scroll inscribed with the motto ‘Ich Dien’ of the college in Old German, which translates to ‘I Serve’. The name of the college surmounts the motifs and its year of establishment is written at the bottom. The college was originally established in 1905 as the Prince of Wales College to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales (later King George V) to Jammu. DRDO-DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF HIGH ALTITUDE RESEARCH (DIHAR) The circular insignia of DRDO-Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) features the motifs of Indian armed forces in the middle, above which a gear wheel is placed and these are crested by the National Emblem in a light yellow background. The motto of the organisation in Sanskrit 'बलस्य मूलं विज्ञानम्', which translates to ‘The Source of Strength is Science' is placed below.
