Mumbai City Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, that competes in the Indian Super League. The club was founded in August 2014, during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League (ISL). Mumbai City is the first club to win both the ISL title and League Winners Shield in the 2020–21 season. The crest of Mumbai City FC has a shield with a fort and suburban local train coach and seven stars in blue and orange outline. The fort represents the forts of erstwhile Maratha kingdoms symbolising valour and the train coach represents the common man of Mumbai, who the team represents. The three lines at the bottom represents the Arabian Sea of Mumbai.
