The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Nagaland. Chingwang Konyak is the president of NDPP. The symbol of the party is a globe. The NDPP was formed by Naga People's Front rebels who supported former Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio and split to form the Democratic Progressive Party. In October 2017, the DPP changed its name to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party. Its circular emblem has a white and red border which bears its name in the top half and its bottom half has its tagline ‘Facta Non Verba’. It means ‘Act Not Words’. The globe is placed in the middle of the circle.

As the institution is named after Mata Vaishno Devi, the color palette and tripartite flow are reminiscent of traditional spiritual symbolism associated with the region. It evokes the three distinct holy expressions or forms (often visually tied to white, yellowish-red and black hues) that represent different aspects of wisdom, prosperity and power. The colour blue stands for depth, trust, loyalty, wisdom and stability, establishing the institution's professional academic focus.
