Incorporated on July 16, 1986, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited is the financial backbone of the Indian power sector and is a leading Non-Banking Financial Corporation in the country. Operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, the organisation was conferred the title of a ‘Navratna CPSE’ in June 2007 and was classified as an Infrastructure Finance Company by the Reserve Bank of India on July 28, 2010. The logo of PFC is a typeface inscribed on a circle with the symbol of electricity placed at the top of typography. The PFC is written in English and पी एफ सी is written in Devanagari script.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears.
