NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH MISSION

India’s flagship health sector programme, National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was launched on April 12, 2005. The mission aims to provide accessible, affordable and quality healthcare to the rural population, especially the vulnerable groups. The focus area of the mission is on establishing a fully functional, community owned and decentralised health delivery system with inter-sectoral convergence at all levels to ensure simultaneous action on a wide range of determinants of health such as water, sanitation, education, nutrition, social and gender equality. The goals of NRHM include Reduction in Infant mortality rate and maternal mortality ratio; universal access to public health services for women’s health, child health, water, hygiene, sanitation and nutrition and prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, including locally endemic diseases. The red and yellow logo of NRHM depicts a family of a man and a woman, along with a child. The name of the scheme is given in English and राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण स्वास्थ्य मिशन is written in Devanagari script.

NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING SCHEME (NORTHERN REGION) KANPUR The emblem of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (Northern Region) Kanpur (NATSNR) has an orange mortarboard hat surmounted by a blue colour partial gear wheel with its acronym written in between. Its name is written around the gear wheel and its motto in Sanskrit  meaning is placed at the bottom. The mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational equality, achievement, tradition and rights of passage and the gear wheel represents, efficiency, interconnectedness, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

NATIONAL LAW INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY The National Law Institute University (NLIU) has been established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and provide the most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. The University launched its first academic programme in 1998. The red circular emblem of the university has its acronym written in the middle, topped by a yellowish drop of enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom and realisation. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘यत्नवान सुखमेधते’ meaning ‘The Diligent Grows Happily’ is inscribed. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries the name of the university, its place and its year of establishment.

It is surrounded by a circular border bearing its name in English and Bengali has a cyan border with triangular edges. SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY Shree Somnath Sanskrit University (SSSU) was created by the Gujarat State government through the Shree Somnath Sanskrit University Act in 2005 for the research and teaching of Sanskrit literature. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp placed on a bunch of palm leaf manuscripts and placed in a yellow circle with an orange border. It is ensconced by a yellow and orange border on which its name and place is written in Devanagari.
