BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO
This programme was launched by the Prime Minister of India at Panipat, Haryana on January 22, 2015. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative addresses the declining child sex ratio (CSR) and related issues of women empowerment over the lifecycle. It is a tri-ministerial effort of the Ministries of Women and Child Development, Health and Family Welfare and Human Resource Development. The emphasis is laid on mindset change through training, sensitization, awareness raising and community mobilisation on ground. The logo for Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao was designed by Shri A. J. Raghuvendra, is a pictorial mark consisting of a picture or image of a teenage girl holding books. The picture or image as a part of the logo is used to express the identity of the scheme. The logo symbolises the rights, hopes and aspirations of the girl child for a life of dignity and equality.

Its name is written around the gear wheel and its motto in Sanskrit  meaning is placed at the bottom. The mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational equality, achievement, tradition and rights of passage and the gear wheel represents, efficiency, interconnectedness, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

NATIONAL LAW INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY The National Law Institute University (NLIU) has been established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and provide the most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. The University launched its first academic programme in 1998. The red circular emblem of the university has its acronym written in the middle, topped by a yellowish drop of enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom and realisation. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘यत्नवान सुखमेधते’ meaning ‘The Diligent Grows Happily’ is inscribed. SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY Shree Somnath Sanskrit University (SSSU) was created by the Gujarat State government through the Shree Somnath Sanskrit University Act in 2005 for the research and teaching of Sanskrit literature. The emblem of the university has a traditional lamp placed on a bunch of palm leaf manuscripts and placed in a yellow circle with an orange border. It is ensconced by a yellow and orange border on which its name and place is written in Devanagari. Below the circle, on a banner, the motto of the university is inscribed with a quote from Kalidasa’s Meghdootam 20. COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING CHENGANNUR (CEC) The emblem of College of Engineering Chengannur (CEC) features a pair of elephants holding a torch with flame, supporting a computer and a microprocessor referring to engineering education; with a pair of open books placed on top left and right referring to education and knowledge. The motifs are supported by a banner inscribed with ‘Electronics’ and another banner inscribed with its motto ‘Manpower Development’. This assemblage is ensconced by a gearwheel and superscribed with an atomic structure. These are ensconced by its name and a pair of laurels. CENTRAL HINDI DIRECTORATE The red colour emblem of Central Hindi Directorate (CHD) is a flower with thirteen petals with two leaves. The petals carry one letter from each of thirteen languages of Bharat. The centre of the flower has two concentric red circles surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘अहं राष्ट्री संगवाणी वसूनां’ meaning ‘I am the Medium for Nation’s Conversation’ and supported by its name in Devanagari. It represents Hindi playing a central role as an Official Language of Bharat.
