ACCELERATING GROWTH OF
NEW INDIA’S INNOVATIONS

To upscale and commercialise proto-type technologies which have been developed by various R&D laboratories and outfits belonging to different departments and ministries of the Government of India, an initiative Accelerating Growth of New India’s Innovations (AGNIi) was undertaken, under the auspices of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser and the Cabinet Secretariat in partnership with Invest India. By providing a platform for innovators to scale up their market ready products, AGNIi will help propel India into a new era of inclusive socio-economic growth. The term ‘AGNIi’ is another name of Fire in Hindi. The logo consists of a flame-like graphic above the Agnii typography.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES (JAMMU IDS JAMMU) The red and black emblem of Institute of Dental Sciences (Jammu IDS Jammu) features a shield inscribed with the housing the motifs of a mountain range, a molar tooth, an open book and a pair of Rods of Asclepius. The shield is surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below these the motto of the college in Devanagari ‘निःस्वार्थ मानव सेवा उत्तम है’, which translates to ‘Selfless Service to Humanity is the Highest Virtue’ is inscribed.
