Founded on October 23, 1989, the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCI) is an Indian state owned Maharatna company headquartered in Gurugram, India and engaged in transmission of power. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network. The Indian power system for planning and operational purposes is divided into five regional grids. The logo of Power Grid Corporation depicts a symbol of electricity in red colour shade surrounded by grids in blue colour shade. The grids depict the Indian power system for planning and operational purposes.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written.
