AS INDIA GOES DIGITAL
Vision Insight and Voices as India goes Digital (VIVID) is an annual national event on grassroots informatics organised by NIC to conduct healthy interactions with NICians. The event includes a District Informatics Officers meet and an awards ceremony to reward the contribution of officers positioned at various district offices of NIC across the country. The VIVID logo shows all the letters infused in a colourful theme that gives a vibrant impression about the event and reflects the motive behind the event i.e., to keep NICians encouraged and motivated.

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture, Government of India. In March 1985 the Museum was renamed as Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which was later through a Cabinet decision named after Indira Gandhi as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS). For international perspective the term ‘National Museum of Mankind’ was adopted. Its logo has a slender dancing girl stylistically depicted in tribal art form in red on a background of yellow.

INSTITUTE OF PESTICIDE FORMULATION TECHNOLOGY Established in May, 1991 under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) established a healthy rapport with the pesticides industries and has been able to successfully transfer technology for safer, efficient and environment friendly formulations. The Institute also functions as a Technical Coordinator Unit on user and environment friendly pesticide formulation technology and quality control of RENPAP, one of the largest networks of UNDP and UNIDO comprising of 15 countries of Asia. The dark blue coloured logo has flask with chemical and acronym ‘IPFT’ at its bottom and supported by wreaths of leaves on both sides. This is placed inside a eight teeth gear wheel.

TRIPURA POLICE Tripura was a one District Territory with one District Magistrate – DM and  Collector and also one Superintendent of Police upto August 31,1970. The territory was divided into three districts with appointment of three DM and Collectors from September 1,1970. Accordingly, three Superintendents of Police were appointed and posted to the districts. The emblem of the Tripura Police shows what could be the modern emblem of the State of Tripura. KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. Mysore State was the predecessor to Karnataka State, which was created on November 1, 1965. Sri. L. Rickets was appointed as first Inspector General of Police. During the rule of Maharajas of Mysore, the policing existed in different variants. CONTROLLER OF CERTIFYING AUTHORITIES The Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) is an organisation that administers and monitors the functioning of Certification Authorities that issue encrypted (a technique for secure communication) digital certificates. This type of encryption allows relying parties to have an authenticated transfer of data under secure connection and CCA has well defined methods of assuring the identity of parties to whom it issues certificates. It also confirms the attribution of a public key to an identified physical person by means of a public key certificate. This logo is a brand mark comprising of graphic - Key and text elements. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS The in-principle approval was granted by Planning Commission in year 2006 for development of a world class institution on corporate affairs. The proposal for setting up of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) was approved in 2007 February. IICA was conceived as a revenue generating model and in the initial stage at least 33 percent of the revenue expenditure should be income from their activities. Its corporate tagline is ‘Partners Governance Transfromation’. The monogram has a bright blue rectangular round cornered box with four yellow coloured floating strokes symbolising the range of issues, which the institution may address; the acronym partially in white in the box and partially out of it.

JAL JEEVAN MISSION Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) was launched by the Government of India on August15, 2019 in partnership with the States, to enable every household in villages to have Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) in the next 5 years. It is envisaged that with FHTC, each household will have supply of potable water (at least 55 lpcd as prescribed in BIS 10500:2012) on regular and long-term basis. To implement the mission, institutional arrangements at various levels have been made and State’s PHE and RWS Departments are to play a critical role. They have to help Gram Panchayat (GP) and / or its sub-committee to plan, implement, manage, operate and maintain its in-village water supply systems. RAJASTHAN POLICE The erstwhile princely States constituting Rajasthan varied considerably in size, population, revenue resources, administrative procedures and practices. With the merger of these States, their police forces were amalgamated into a single police force, which is known as Rajasthan Police. In the intial years after its inception, Rajasthan Police was headed by officers on deputation. The Rajasthan Police Service was formed in January 1951 and eligible officers from all over the State were appointed. The emblem of Rajasthan Police consists of the ‘Jaya Stambh’ or Victory Tower of Chittaorgarh between two swords in saltire and a shield charged with Jaya Stambh, crested with the Ashoka Lion Capital with its motto, being the emblem of India. Below is the name of the service: Rajasthan Police: ‘Rajasthan Police’ in Devanagari. ETALL To measure the impact of various e-governance initiatives at national and state levels, a public service portal eTaal was developed by NIC. It provides a collective view of eTransactions performed through e-Governance applications implemented including, but not limited to, the national level mission mode projects under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). ETaal facilitates quick analysis of eTransaction data shared by various applications in tabular as well as graphical from enabling the user to drill down to the lowest possible level. eTaal addresses the qualitative aspects of service delivery and follows a concept of 'Quantility', which means quantity with 'quality. The logo for eTaal comprises of typographic elements to express the name of the organization. The emblem is a greenish blue stylized version of ‘e’ and the monogram is cursive text, ‘taal’ in black similar to that of written by a marker.
