AS INDIA GOES DIGITAL
Vision Insight and Voices as India goes Digital (VIVID) is an annual national event on grassroots informatics organised by NIC to conduct healthy interactions with NICians. The event includes a District Informatics Officers meet and an awards ceremony to reward the contribution of officers positioned at various district offices of NIC across the country. The VIVID logo shows all the letters infused in a colourful theme that gives a vibrant impression about the event and reflects the motive behind the event i.e., to keep NICians encouraged and motivated.

The University offers programmes in the disciplines of medicine, allied health sciences, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, speech and audiology, biological sciences, media & communication and Architecture. Its logo in blue colour has a monogram using ‘N’ on a shield and slicing it along the diagonal central line with its name placed alongside.

TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), was established by an Act (No. 30) of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2008. The emblem of the university has a motif of a pair of green flying birds motif supporting the acronym of the name and place of the university are placed in a circular orange vignette background. These are ensconced by a half white and half red border which bears the name of the university in English and Devanagari respectively. On a banner with orange tones, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सम्यक् दर्शन, सम्यक् ज्ञान, सम्यक् चारित्र' meaning ‘Right philosophy, Right knowledge, Right character’ is inscribed in black. The green flying bird symbols mean good luck, hope, joy, new beginnings, renewal and healing.

The shield is ensconced by a blue banner inscribed with its tagline ‘The Cross Our Hope’ and its motto ‘Truth Charity’ with a star cresting the shield. INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE CULTIVATION OF SCIENCE Founded on July 29, 1876 by Dr Mahendra Lal Sircar, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) is the oldest institute in India devoted to the pursuit of fundamental research in the frontier areas of basic sciences. Professor C V Raman worked at IACS during 1907 to 1933, and it is here that he discovered the celebrated effect that bears his name and for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. Activities of the Association at 210 Bowbazar Street, Calcutta, in the very early years were supported by generous public contributions. In the early phase, the list of lecturers in Science in IACS included all the luminaries of the era: Father Lafont, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Asutosh Mukherjee, Chunilal Bose and Pramathanath Bose. NITYANANDAPARIVARA TILAK The Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, lacking a central authority since its very inception on account of its dynamic spread, has come to encompass a large diversity of practices and insights within the foundational framework of the Goswami's teachings. Traditional Gaudiya lineages are traced back to the companions of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu via a succession of mantra diksha initiations, otherwise commonly known as the guru-pranali. Nityananda (b 1474 CE), was a Vaishnava saint, famous as a primary religious figure within the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition of Bengal, is presumed to be an avatar of Balarama. Nityananda was Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's friend and disciple. They are often mentioned together as Gaura-Nitai (Gaura, ‘golden one’, referring to Chaitanya, Nitai being a shortened form of Nityananda) or Nimai-Nitai.   The followers of Nityananda are called the Nityananda Parivara and their tilaka sports the Gaudiya tilaka with a dot.

GODDESS MAHAGAURI Goddess Mahagauri is the radiant eighth form of Goddess Durga, representing purity, peace, calmness, and wisdom. Her name, meaning ‘great fair one’, signifies the transformation of Goddess Parvati's dark complexion into a radiant white form after extreme penance and a sacred bath. Worshipping Maa Mahagauri on the eighth day of Navratri is believed to purify sins, remove fear and sorrow, and grant inner peace, prosperity, and self-realisation to her devotees.
