VISION INSIGHT AND VOICES
AS INDIA GOES DIGITAL
Vision Insight and Voices as India goes Digital (VIVID) is an annual national event on grassroots informatics organised by NIC to conduct healthy interactions with NICians. The event includes a District Informatics Officers meet and an awards ceremony to reward the contribution of officers positioned at various district offices of NIC across the country. The VIVID logo shows all the letters infused in a colourful theme that gives a vibrant impression about the event and reflects the motive behind the event i.e., to keep NICians encouraged and motivated.

GOKHALE INSTITUTE OF POLITICS AND ECONOMICS The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPS), Pune, was established in 1930 by the Servants of India Society (SIS). It is the oldest research and training institute in economics in the country. Gokhale was the one who founded the Servants of India Society in 1905. In recognition of its contribution to higher learning and research in Economics, the Institute was awarded the status of institution 'Deemed to be a University', in 1993. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A pair of laurels supports the border. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge & Empowerment’ is written. The book signifies the pursuit of higher education, standard knowledge acquisition and open access to academic exploration for all students; the sun represents the dispelling of ignorance through enlightenment and the bright future awaiting empowered graduates; and the laurels are traditional symbol representing academic achievement, honour and victory in the pursuit of personal excellence.

NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE  National Informatics Centre (NIC) is the premier science and technology organisation of the Government of India in informatics services and information and communication technology (ICT) applications. Established in 1976, NIC is a part of the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India. The NIC logo is light blue in colour, which represents professionalism, trust, loyalty, confidence, productivity, wisdom, intelligence, strength, stability, peace, calmness and perseverance. KOLKATA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRCL) is a Government of India enterprise implementing Kolkata (East-West Metro) Corridor Project. KMRCL's Project upon completion will connect Salt Lake Sector-V in the East and Howrah Maidan in the West. There shall be six elevated stations and six underground stations. The line will have interchange with existing terminals of Indian railways at Howrah and Sealdah.
