The emblem of Kerala Medical Services Corporation Ltd. (KMSCL) has motifs of a small family in silhouette in brown supported by a stethoscope and supported by a sun. At the right bottom its acronym is written in green with a graph line depicting medical monitoring and its tagline ‘In Service to Public Health’. The motifs represent the medical service and the beneficiaries and the rising sun denotes  life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity. The colours used are earthy and affable for the beneficiaries to associate with comfort.

The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes.
