The Dronacharya Award trophy has an abstract bronze sculpture of a guru, acharya, teacher or coach teaching or training his shishya, disciple, pupil or trainee in the art and skill of archery. This represents the famous Guru Dronacharya and his equally famous Arjuna of Mahabharata fame. They both are known for their exemplary calibre, skill, excellence and achievements.
