The emblem of Anand Arts College (AAC) features a traditional lamp supported by a pair of laurels and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘या विद्या सा ज्योति’ meaning ‘That which is knowledge is light’ and supported by an ornamental lotus pattern. The lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the lotus  denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
