The emblem of Ambai Arts College (AAC) features a shield housing the motifs of Sage Agasthiar, a river, a hoe and a glowing ‘kuthuvilakku’ (a traditional lamp) supported by a pair of laurels. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sage refers to the place of the college; the river refers to River Tamirabarani which flows through this place; the hoe refers to agriculture and farming; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
