The predominantly green circular seal of Kalaburagi and Yadgir District Central Co Operative Bank (DDCB Kalburagi) features the motifs of a building, crests of wheat, a bowl of pulses and a pair of hands shaking placed on a bright green circle with a pair of rivers flowing. These are ensconced by a dark green circle inscribed with its name in white. The wheat and the pulse refer to farming, agriculture and agricultural banking and financing. The building refers to the bank; the rivers refer to irrigation and water and the handshake refers to goodwill, agreement, or farewell, representing trust, respect, and equality.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written.
