BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) was incorporated on September 15, 2000. It took over the business of providing of telecom services and network management from the erstwhile Government of India’s Departments of Telecom Services (DTS) (DoT) and Telecom Operations (DTO), with effect from October 1, 2000 on going concern basis. It is one of the largest and leading public sector units providing comprehensive range of telecom services in India. Its logo has a grey coloured globe circumnavigated by red and blue arrows in opposite directions. Below this is the acronym BSNL in blue colour and at the bottom is its motto ‘Connecting India’ is written in black.

The institute was accorded the status of a university under Gujarat State Act No. 8 of 2009. The emblem of the university has a pictorial and a wordmark. The pictorial has the letter ‘C’ written stylistically holding an orange dot in its counter and it is supported by a pair of white swooshes on a blue quadrilateral. On its right its acronym is written in blue serif typeface and its name is written below that.
