The emblem of Chandy College of Education (CCE) features a golden pennant inscribed with the motifs of an oyster from which two humans walk out from and an open book alongwith the motto of the college in Tamil ‘பணிவாய் பயில்வோம் உழைப்பால் உயர்வோம்’. The name of the college is written on the right in red sans-serif capitals and the tagline of the college ‘Reach Within. Shape Your Future’ is inscribed on a yellow banner placed below the name. The pennant symbolises victory, achievement, and identity; the humans refer to the teacher and the student emerging out of an oyster as pearls through the process of education; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.
