The red colour emblem of Ganpat University (GU) has a pictorial of human head supported by an open book, with its name written alongside in sans serif typeface. Below the name its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया समाजोत्कर्षः’ meaning ‘The Upliftment of Society Through Education’ is inscribed. The book symbolises knowledge, education, wisdom and learning through which the human evolves and develops into a complete personality. The colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
