LOKBHARATI UNIVERSITY FOR RURAL INNOVATION

The circular emblem of Lokbharati University for Rural Innovation (LURI) houses the motifs of a waterbody, rising sun and clouds and a sailboat, with a flying bird bringing new ideas and its place. These are ensconced by a circular border on which its name and its motto is inscribed separated by a pair of traditional lamps. The Sanskrit motto ‘अविद्यया मृत्युं तीर्त्वा विद्ययाડमृतमश्नुते’ (Verse 11, Ishopanishad) means ‘Ignorance Crosses Beyond Death and the Knowledge Enjoys Immortality’. The swan is the harbinger of new and fresh ideas and solutions, the sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the sailboat denotes journey and adventure and the lamps symbolise light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

Its emblem is an orange squircle with its acronym ‘Cmm’ as a monogram in white, light blue and violet colours. It is supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वाणी स्वास्थ्य मूलम्’ meaning ‘Health is the Root of Everything’. On the top right corner is the Rod of Aesculapius (also called Asklepios), the ancient mythical god of medicine. Asklepios may have been a real person who was renowned for his gentle remedies and humane treatment of the mentally ill.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.

This look like a mould for injection and the leaf symbolises environment consciousness. Its acronym CIPET is written in Devanagari and English at the bottom and below that is its motto ‘probe, practice, perform, Plastics’ in dark blue.

The emblem of the college has the motifs of a traditional lamp supported by a red cross at the bottom and a pair of blue lions on the sides. These are placed above the acronym of its name. All theses are ensconced in a yellow circular border which bears the name and place of the college. Below this on a border its motto 'Knowledge is Power’ is written. The traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and laurels signify victory, accomplishment, honour, recognition, immortality, peace and harmony. A pair of lions signifies courage, confidence and pride and the red cross symbolises a symbol of protection and a sign that help is at hand.
