The circular emblem of Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya (SNPV) has a blue border, on which its name and place are inscribed in Devanagari and English. In a circle ensconced by this border, motifs of Banjari Mandir, a rising sun, an open book, a veena, a hockey stick, a traditional lamp, a crest of wheat, a local leaf and flower, a gear wheel and symbol of electrical power and its year of establishment. The motifs represent the local culture and heritage, the courses offered in the university; the open book symbolises education, knowledge, wisdom, education and learning and the sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity. Below the circular seal, on a brown banner, its motto in Sanskrit meaning ‘श्रद्धावाँल्लभते ज्ञानम्’ (39, Chapter 4, Srimad Bhagavad Gita) ‘The Devoted and Faithful Gain Knowledge’ is inscribed.
