The orange and blue emblem Monark University (MU) has a monogram of ‘MU’ crested with a crown made from the nib of a pen. In the counter three parallel lines of Tripundra representing Prana - the life force is placed. These are supported by a blue colour circular arc. Below these its name is written in sans serif bold capitals. The nib of a pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the tiara or crown denotes symbolises power and status; the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
