The predominantly orange circular emblem of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University (SRU) has two layers of lotuses in light and dark orange houses a diagram of an atom supported by its acronym ‘SRU’. The circular orange border bears its name and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यम् ज्ञानम् अनंतम्’ meaning ‘True Knowledge is Infinite’ is written and supported by a pair of laurels. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness; lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the drawing of an atom denotes science, engineering and technology and the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
