KAIVALYADHAMA ASHRAM
The red circular seal of Kaivalyadhama Ashram has a curled three headed cobra supporting the words सोऽहम् and ॐ and its name in Devanagari. These are ensconced by a red circular outline around which its name and its year of establishment are written. ॐ or Ohm is a symbol representing a sacred sound, syllable, mantra and an invocation and सोऽहम् (16, Isha Upanishad) means ‘I am What He Is’. The three headed cobra may refer to conflicting emotions, thoughts or choices and the colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism). The crown of wheat symbolises agriculture and village produce; the pair of footwear of Mahatma denote that the university follows in the footsteps of his ideals; the rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the gear wheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
