The Department of Tourism, Jammu and Kashmir is the main developmental, promotional and regulatory arm of the J&K Government with respect to promotion of tourism in the Union Territory(UT). Its emblem in the form of a pictorial of a house boat floating on a lake supported by a mountain in the background. These symbolise Himalayas and the houseboats on Dal Lake.

DIGILOCKER DigiLocker is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India under its Digital India initiative. DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Indian citizen to access authentic documents and certificates such as driving licence, vehicle registration, academic mark list in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates. It also provides one GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents. Its emblem in purple colour has a cloud with a keyhole with a background of a document. Its name is written alongside and its tag line is written below the name.

This is ensconced by an oval border inscribed with the name of the college in red and its place in black. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa) meaning ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’ is written on a yellow banner placed below the seal. The book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the scrolls symbolise divine revelation, wisdom and destiny.

GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, BIJBEHARA (GDC BIJBEHARA) The emblem of Government Degree College, Bijbehara (GDC Bijbehara) features a green chinar leaf supporting an open book inscribed with an Arabic text ‘خَيْرُ جَلِيسٍ فِي الزَّمَانِ كِتَابُ’, which translates to ‘The Best Companion in Time is a Book’ and supporting a lighted candle and ensconced by a yellow circular border inscribed with the name, place and motto of the college. The motto in Urdu ‘زندگی شمع کی صورت ہو خدایا میری’, which translates to ‘O God! May My Life Be Like That of a Candle’. The chinar leaf refers to Jammu and Kashmir, the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lighted candle symbolises enlightenment and the removal of darkness (ignorance), representing how knowledge guides a student's path and spreads light into society.
