The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is a leading graduate school of management in Asia. IIMB has a strong brand identity with a logo that has great recall. The red sun symbol supported by its acronym in black was designed by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. The motto of the current logo is based on a line from the Sanskrit shloka which has become the motto of IIMB - तेजस्वि नावधीतमस्तु. This line, derived from the peace invocation of several Upanishads, translates as: 'Let our study be enlightening. Let us together be protected and let us together be nourished by God’s blessings / Let us together join our mental forces in strength for the benefit of humanity / Let our study be enlightening / Let us never be poisoned with the seeds of hatred for anyone / Let there be peace and serenity in all the three universes'. This is an invocation from Taittiriya Upanishad.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
