Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN) started its journey in the year 2015 under the mentorship of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The Institute’s first batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management commenced on July 23, 2015. IIM Nagpur believes in creating and disseminating knowledge with the ultimate aim of impacting the practice. A line from the Upanishad expresses this belief aptly. In Taittiriya Upanishad (Section 9, Capter 1, Siksha Valli) emphasises the practice of various duties of human beings with learning and teaching. In particular, the second line 'सत्यं च स्वाध्याय प्रवचने च' meaning 'Merely knowing is not enough; one has to try to implement' was adoptedas the motto for IIM Nagpur. The motto can be broadly stated as towards ‘Truth Through Individual Reflection and Collective Discourse’ and amplified further as an exciting/inspired journey towards truth through individual reflection/personal excellence and collective discourse/ engagement / commitment. IIM Nagpur engaged the National Institute of Design (NID) for the creation of its logo. Following an iterative process, NID has specially designed the logo to reflect the motto of IIM Nagpur.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.

The blue circle is circumscribed by the name and place of the college in red. The weighing scales with the twin balance pans symbolise equity, fairness, objectivity and truth; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the figures holding hands directly atop the scale beam highlights unity, collaboration, teamwork and community integration.
