INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT KOZHIKODE

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) was set up in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala. Its circular emblem in the form of a gear wheel has a bow and arrow in the top half - symbolising aiming high and reaching the target through effort; a water body with a boat and a few coconut trees - symbolising Kerala and an open book - symbolising knowledge and wisdom, in the bottom half the name of the institute is written around the gear wheel. The motto of the institute ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ meaning (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’.

It was founded by K. P. Kesava Menon, a volunteer in the Indian freedom struggle against the British. The word ‘Mathrubhumi’ translates to 'Mother Land'. BENGALURU NORTH UNIVERSITY The Government of Karnataka has notified the establishment of Bengaluru North University by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University through its Gazette Notification on August 13, 2015 and was inaugurated on September 21, 2017. This is a State University located in Kolar in Karnataka. The emblem of the university depicts the importance of the jurisdictional area through its geographical features, scientific development and the rhythm of people’s lives. The circular emblem has three concentric circles, which represent the conscious, subconscious and dreams. RAJA SHANKAR SHAH UNIVERSITY, CHHINDWARA Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara University (RSUC) has been established by the GOvernment of Madhya Pradesh dated June 17, 2019. The green colour octagonal emblem of the university is a pictorial of a flower created using the motifs of three open books, seven humans and reading of books standing on a pedestal.
