With the objectives of imparting high quality management education and training, the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India established Indian Institute of Management Indore as Institution of Excellence. The Sanskrit words 'सिद्धि मूलं प्रबन्धनम्' encapsulate the belief that ‘The Root of All Achievement is Management’. This is symbolised by a circle in four segments. The segments collectively represent that management is multidimensional and forms an organic whole. The segments in blue form three quarters of a circle, while the fourth segment that opens out reflects receptivity to the changing environment.
