The emblem of the AAFT University of Media and Arts (ATTUMA) has a pictorial and a wordmark. The blue and red pictorial has a white shield with dual outlines houses the motifs of a flame supported by a decorative element. At its right its name is written in red using an experimental face and below that rest of the details are written. The shield symbolises protection, safety, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power. The colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country. Its logo has a wine glass with a bunch of grapes and vine leaf in white in a light green circle, which is surrounded by its name in black sans serif text.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.

THE NEW COLLEGE (TNC) The red and green emblem of The New College (TNC) features a shield housing the motifs of a crescent with star, a lotus, a palm tree and a torch with flame. Below the shield on a red ribbon the motto of the college in Arabic ‘رب زدني علماً’ is inscribed and its meaning ‘My Lord! Increase Me in Knowledge’ is written at the bottom. The shield denotes ; the crescent with star refer to the college’s Islamic orientation and progress; the lotus refers to India; the torch with flame refers to enlightenment and knowledge; the palm refers to Middle  E and sweetness. The colour green signifies prosperity and the red signifies sacrifice.
