The emblem of K.K. Modi University (KKMU) is a shield which has a thick multi coloured borderline with cyan, bluish green, red, yellow and blue colours in which motifs of tripundra, a human in prayer, a lotus and the Devanagari letters ‘ॐ ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं’ are placed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the tripundra denotes prana or life force and the three responsibilities performed by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva respectively; the praying human denotes the student worshipping the flower of learning; the lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; ॐ ऐं  ह्रीं श्रीं are the four bija (basic) mantras and these are used to invoke the blessings and powers of Goddesses - Saraswati, Parvati, Shakti and Lakshmi and the multiple colours of border denote unity in diversity.
