The emblem of DIT University (DITU) has a word mark of its name in black thin sans serif font. A motif of half portion of gear wheel placed in reverse on its right corner. Its motto ‘Imagine Aspire Achieve’ is placed at the bottom. The gear wheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the colour cyan symbolises sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation, emotional balance and the colour black denotes mystery, power, elegance and sophistication.

The circular emblem of the university has an orange eight toothed gear wheel bearing the university’s name in Meiteilon ensconcing the motifs of a pair of gear wheels, a student with mortarboard hat and a rising sun in the background of Kanglasha - Nongsaba, i.e. half lion and half dragon. EMBLEM OF HARYANA The state of Haryana was split from Punjab state on November 1,1966. The main part of the actual state was ceded to the East India Company in 1803. In 1832 it was added to the Northwest Provinces and in 1858 to Punjab to which it belonged until 1966. In the centre of the state the Principality of Jind was located. The emblem of Haryana shows a sun and a lotus-flower rising from a lake. The title of the emblem is 'Government of Haryana'. It is surrounded by a garland of ears of wheat and has the national symbol with motto of the Indian Republic as a crest.
