The insignia of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSV) with a green circular border and a light brown inner border house the motifs of Lord Natarja and a Veena symbolising dance and music respectively and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सुस्वराः सन्तु सर्वेऽपि’ meaning ‘May All Live in Tune’. The light brown border is inscribed with the name of the founder and the green border is inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari.
