KHWAJA MOINUDDIN LANGUAGE UNIVERSITY

The circular logo Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMLU) in the tones of brown has a brown tree with red and green leaves supported by an open book in the bottom and a pair of fish on its sides. These motifs are ensconced by a light brown circular border with a yellow ochre outline, which is inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari and English. Below the circular seal, on a golden banner, its motto in Sanskrit ‘भाषा विश्वं योजयति’ meaning ‘Language Connects the World’ is inscribed. The tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything; the open book denotes education, knowledge, learning and wisdom and the pair of fish represent the State of Uttar Pradesh.

ECGC LIMITED ECGC Limited (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd.), wholly owned by Government of India, was set up in 1957 with the objective of promoting exports from the country by providing Credit Risk Insurance and related services for exports. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
