The insignia of Manipal University (MU), Jaipur is known as ‘Manipal Mogo’ in short. The visual identity is centred around the ‘manah’ (mind) symbol. The ‘manah’ is about the development of the human mind, which is innovating daily to give the best solutions to life’s customers. The rich orange tone of copper signifies the change from the past (our heritage) to a bright and prosperous future. This emblem captures the exploring, caring nature to bring alive through the business of education. The symbol is supported by a pair of laurels and its tagline ‘Inspired by Life’ is inscribed at the bottom. The laurels signify ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’.
