The circular emblem of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University (HNBUMU) houses the motifs of a Staff of Caduceus or Staff of Hermes entwined with a pair of serpents and wings and crested by the rays of rising sun in the backdrop of Himalayan Mountains supported by an open book. Below the seal, on a white and blue banner its motto ‘Learn to Serve’ is inscribed. The staff represents medicine and medical profession; the sun rays denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the mountains denotes the geography of the locale; the open book denotes learning, education, knowledge and wisdom and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

INDIA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LEGAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH The Bar Council of India Trust took the initiative to establish the India International University of Legal Education and Research in Goa (IIULER). It was established by the Bar Council of India Trust - Pearl First through a Statute of the Goa Legislature. The emblem of the university is a brown colour shield with thick golden borders holding the motifs of the globe and a map of India. The name of the university surmounts these motifs. The acronym of the university’s name is written on a golden banner below the shield. At the bottom the name of the promoters are written. The globe and the map of India symbolise the domain and scope of the university and its range of studies; the colour gold symbolises wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement and the colour brown denotes earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

SANGEET NATAK AKADEMI The Sangeet Natak Akademi - India's national academy for music, dance and drama - is the first national academy of the arts setup by the Republic of India. It was created on May 31, 1952. As the apex body specializing in the performing arts of the country, the Akademi also renders advice and assistance to the Government of India in the task of formulating and implementing policies and programmes in the field. The centre was recognized as an Institution Deemed to be University by University Grants Commission in 2002. The emblem of the institute has a tower carrying the flame on the cauldron atop. The tower is superscribed by the initials of Jawaharlal Nehru and at the bottom its acronym is written in blue sans serif font. ARMY TRAINING COMMAND The philosophy of Indian Army’s Training Command is “No soldier or officer should ever lose his life or limb in combat, because he was inadequately trained”. The aim of the Command is to maximize effectiveness of training and establish a dedicated organization for formulating concepts and doctrines, which are specifically applicable to our operational environment. The Army Training Command (ARTRAC) came into being on October 1, 1991 at Mhow in Madhya Pradesh. It subsequently shifted to Shimla on March 31, 1993. The sleeve patch of the Training Command is red, black and red horizontal striped badge and crossed swords golden yellow.
