The emblem of Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) university has a gear wheel, which is half and half black carrying its motto ‘Transforming Dreams Into Reality’ on top and its name at the bottom. Within this the monogram of its acronym ‘GE’ is designed as a torch in orange and red. The monogram is placed above the motif of Mount Himalayas. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the Mount Himalayas denote the locale of the university; the torch symbolises enlightenment and hope; the colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
