The cyan, blue and purple circular seal of Vignan's Lara Institute of Technology & Science (VLITS) features an abstract circular shape created by the repetition of ‘VL’ holding a star in the centre. The star refers to excellence and leadership; the rays emanating from the star refer to the institution's reach and impact; and the five triangles refer to the diverse fields of engineering. The overall design conveys a sense of unity, innovation, and commitment to academic excellence in science and technology.

GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, PAPPIREDDIPATTI (GASCPRP) The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Pappireddipatti (GASCPRP) features shield housing the motifs of the king Athiyaman interacting with poet Avvaiyar, an open book with rising sun and two abstract humans, a tree held by a pair of hands, a computer and an image of Vaniyar Dam, ensconced by a purple circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
