Below the gearwheel, on a yellow banner, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge is Power’ is written in red. The Cross refers to divine blessings and benevolence; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the gearwheel refers to  refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
