The emblem of Mohamed Sathak Engineering College (MSEC) features an open book supporting a traditional lamp and a gearwheel housing the motifs of a factory, a computer and a satellite referring the branches of engineering, ensconced by its name and its motto in Arabic ‘وَلِلهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ’ Meaning ‘To God Belongs the Dominion of The Heavens and the Earth.’ The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
