ARULMIGU MEENAKSHI AMMAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (AMEC)

The circular emblem of Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering (AMEC) features a cyan circle housing the motifs of the iconic Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple gopuram, a satellite dish antenna, a traditional lamp and a roll mill; and its motto in Tamil ‘வாய்மையே வெல்லும்’ meaning ‘Truth Alone Triumphs’. This circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a red banner inscribed with the college’s year of establishment. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the other motifs symbolise the subjects of engineering.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border.
