WARANGAL DISTRICT CO-OPERATIVE CENTRAL BANK LTD.

The emblem of Warangal District Co-operative Central Bank Ltd. (WDCCB) features a photograph of Kakatiya Kala Thoranam, also known as the Warangal Gates, a historical archway that was part of the Warangal Fort, built in the 12th century by the Kakatiya Dynasty with a photograph of a farmer tilling the field with a pair of oxen and hoe supported by a pair of laurels’ placed in a circle. The motifs are surmounted by the name of the bank and supported by its initials ‘WDCCB’ on a banner. At the bottom, the status of the bank is written in Telugu. The Kakatiya Thoranam refers to the District’s heritage and history, the farmer and the field refer to agriculture, agricultural banking and finance; and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

Earlier it was known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) and Koneru Lakshmaiah University, located in Vaddeswaram, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. The red and blue emblem of the foundation has a gear wheel with twelve teeth of which nine bear the symbols of nine planets. It houses the motifs of a factory, atomic symbol, a bridge and a transmission tower within a circle.
