The circular seal of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT) represents knowledge and its application for the betterment of society. The core of the emblem features a stylised representation of a gear or cogwheel, which symbolizes technology and engineering. The inner square with its four divisions represents different branches or disciplines within technology and engineering education offered by the institute. The motto inscribed at the bottom in Sanskrit, ‘भूतये प्रभवतु सांकेतिकविद्या’, translates to ‘Let Technology lead to prosperity’.
