The emblem of College of Engineering Attingal (CEAL) features a student with mortar board hat referring to the successful graduation after studies supporting its parent body’s initials ‘IHRD’ and an atomic structure referring to science and engineering supported on sides by a pair of decorative leaves and a pair of laurels. This assemblage is supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the college and the name of its place is written below. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the leaves refer to balance, duality and connection.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
