The blue colour emblem of College of Engineering, Cherthala (CECTL) features a pair of elephants supporting pedestal holding the motifs of a microprocessor, a computer and a tree with a pair of students studying under it, with a diagram of an atom and satellite dish antenna placed on the sides and ensconced by a circular outline. The name of the college circumscribes the circle. This assemblage is placed inside a gearwheel. Below the gearwheel, on a banner, its motto in Sanskrit ‘धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्’ (Gayatri Mantra) meaning ‘May He Enlighten Our Intellects’ is inscribed. The elephants refer to the State of Kerala; the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the other motifs refers to the study of engineering.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border.
