The circular seal of SRM Easwari Engineering College (SRM Easwari) features a green shield with yellow frame housing the motifs of swastika and a computer, crested by an abstract motif of Lord Ganesha and supported by the letters ‘SRM’. The shield is ensconced by a circular border with black outlines inscribed with the name of the college and its motto ‘Educate and Excel’. The Lord Ganesh refers to divine blessings and benevolence; the swastika refers to health, wealth and prosperity; the yellow frame refers to the window of opportunity created by the college through education; and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.

INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country.
